Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel System Review

A while ago I was able to try a sample of the Philosophy Microdelivery Peel Kit, and I was very impressed. It made by skin look much brighter and healthier!

Essentially it is 2 part skin care peel, the first part is the Bicarbonate Vitamin C Crystals. It is yellow in colour and are small rough grainy crystals, you exfoliate your skin with this for about a minute before adding part 2. Part 2 is the clear Activator Gel which you massage on your face along with the crystals. These products are suppose to give your skin a boost by brightening it and giving you smoother skin. However the Philosophy version is £59.50, a little steep for a student.

After doing some research I came across the Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion & Peel. The Olay version is £28.99 and Amazon is the only place I have come across that stocks this item in the UK.The Olay version is pretty much identical and very a good dupe for the Philosophy edition, and less than half of the price!

This product improved my skin immensely, I have combination skin which can get quite dry and flaky, however this product actually got rid of the flakiness entirely! Its a really good exfoliator which removed all the dead skin cells it also brightened my complexion. I do have sensitive skin and the activator gel is a tad bit harsh and gives my face a slight burning sensation but not bad enough that I have to wash it off straight away. The crystals actually have a pleasant fruity scent too, which is great.

I enjoyed this product a great deal and will deffo be repurchasing it, I am going to go as far to say that it is probably now one of my holy grails as it definitely has improved the texture of my skin.

Thanks
Dee

MeMeMe Beat the Blues Skin Illuminator Review

I want my skin to glow and be radiant, however it must only be in the right places, on the cheek bones not the t-zone, dewy not oily please.
When I was gifted the MeMeMe Beat the Blues liquid highlighter I had high hopes, considering it is suppose to be an exact dupe for Benefits Moon Beam and High Beam. It retails for £5.50 and can be bought through their own website, which do discounts regularly, or it can be bought in Superdrug stores.

Soap & Glory, The Fab Pore 2 in 1 Facial Pore Purifying Mask and Peel Review

I had been wanting to try out Soap & Glory's skincare range for a while now, as I have been thoroughly impressed by the bath & body, and makeup range, so when I saw Soap & Glory The Fab Pore with 1/3 off the price  at Boots I grabbed it!
I love their packaging it is really cute, vintage and girly. The tub itself is made out of rubber covered plastic, like Nars packaging, but it is white. It looks very sleek and pretty, I love the packaging. You get 50ml of product for £10.00, however every time I see it in Boots its always on offer for £6.67.

L'oreal 15 Seconds Miracle Cleansing Oil Review

When it comes to taking off my makeup at the end of the day I can be slightly lazy. Lazy being a understatement. I would often just use a make up wipe, or some micellar water, which usually leaves a residue on my skin, occasionally I may just forget to take off my makeup until the next morning.

A while ago my sister had a sample of the DHC cleansing oil which she gave to me, it was a very large sized sample. I loved it, it took seconds to take off my makeup! So when I saw that they started to do drugstore/highstreet versions which were easy to find and cheap to buy I had to pick it up.

Soap & Glory Cheekmate Review

Hello Everyone!

Unfortunately, although I do not like to admit it, I am a lazy person and I hate retouching up my makeup. I just cannot be bothered dealing with it, if I put something on my face in the morning I want it to last the whole day!

This is why I adore stains, if you find a good one it will stay on your skin for ages. A year or so ago I purchased the Soap & Glory Cheekmate, which is basically a cheek and lip stain.

No7 Match Made Concealer Review

Hello!
While scraping at the sides of my Revlon Colourstay concealer I realised I need a new concealer. However it is difficult in the UK highstreet to find a concealer for darker skinned people; so imagine my surprise when I found out No7 made a concealer in SEVENTEEN different shades!
I was on it like a car bonnet, and too add to my excitement Boots was giving out £3 off No7 makeup range vouchers as well. Originally it would retail for £7.50, but with my voucher I only had to pay £4.50. Bargain!

It is a twist up concealer, like a lipstick. The white plastic packaging is very sturdy, and in my opinion very sleek.

The colour match was okay, in the tube it looks like a really good colour; however when applied it does have a slight white-ish undertone. For this reason I only use it under my eyes and it gives a brightening affect.
